Dr. Goin grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia and attended Penn State University where she received a Bachelors of Science degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Science. She then went on to complete a Masters degree in Environmental Public Policy from the University of Maryland. While attending school, she worked at various veterinary hospitals and fell in love with veterinary medicine. She went on to receive her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2012 from the Virginia Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr.Goin returned to the Philadelphia area after graduation and most recently has been providing relief services to local veterinary hospitals. Prior to this, she served as the lead veterinarian for the Glen Mills Heart + Paw location. She has also worked as an associate at several general practices in the area including The Cat Doctor. Her clinical interests include dentistry, internal medicine, and feline medicine. She is also passionate about providing low-stress veterinary care and enjoys working with owners to come up with a plan to keep their pets healthy and happy.
Dr. Goin is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Pennsylvania Veterinary Medical Association, Delaware Valley Academy of Veterinary Medicine, and American Association of Feline Practitioners. She is also a certified Cat Friendly Veterinarian. She shares her home with her husband and daughter and their multiple kitties. Dr. Goin is excited to be joining The Cat Doctor team again!
