Meet Our House Cats
Lois Lane
Lois Lane (AKA LoLo) was rescued by a client of ours. She had an unknown trauma resulting in loss of the use of her tail and incontinence. After a tail amputation and weeks of care, it became apparent she would always need to wear diapers and would need help expressing her bladder. Luckily for Lois, Miriam advocated for her and she won a spot on our feline team in 2012! Lois loves bossing the other cats (and people) around and has a nearly obsessive love of the laser pointer. This feisty little girl loves showing off her fancy pants and you can frequently find her behind the front desk or atop her cat tree towering above her minions!
Munchie aka Mayor Munchie
Munchie arrived as a stray but quickly found his way into our hearts. He has the best disposition and is quite the lover of laps. So be warned, if you sit in our waiting room, your lap will be claimed and he expects lots of rubs.
Casper
Casper is a special kitty. He is full of love and mischief. You are sure to find him sunning himself at the front window but beware, if you find him perched on one of our kitty shelves, he may give you a love swap with claws!
Dory
Dory is the newest member of our clowder. If you see her, she is probably running. She is a little skittish but loving in her own way. She came to us as a rescue from Kolony Kats and the team just couldn’t let her go. She spends the majority of time in the back looking over the care of our patients, especially the kittens.
